The Data Office has been formally established and today launches its official website at data.gov.vin, where the open data of the Network's departments and services is published and access to their data holdings is arranged.

All news- Data Office Publishes First Eighteen Open Datasets
Eighteen datasets from sixteen departments and network services are published today in the open data catalogue at data.gov.vin, with a further forty-six scheduled for release by 31 December 2026.
- Data Office Opens Data Request Service
From today, anyone may ask the Data Office for data held by a department or network service that has not been published. Requests are acknowledged within two working days and answered within twenty.
- Data Office Adopts Network Open Data Licence and Publication Standards
All open data of the Network is published from today under a single licence permitting free reuse with attribution, and to common standards for formats, metadata, identifiers and dates.
About the Data Office
The Data Office of the Velocity Interoperability Network is responsible for the publication of open data by the departments and network services of the Velocity Interoperability Network, and for access to their data holdings.
It maintains the open data catalogue and the register of data holdings, sets the standards to which data is published, handles requests for data that has not been published, and administers the licence under which the Network's data may be reused.
